Now, that comment definitely deserves an imperfunctory response on my behalf. So, here is my gratitude conveyed with all my October WotM that I can offer.
Maaate! I got goosebumps when I read “Texas” thinking “could it be?!”, and sure enough there it was - Hector Schmidt! Can’t wait to read the whole book.
Thanks, Luis, though it will only be a novella, around 30k words (~1/3 of a novel). I had all the chapters outlined & several passages written by the time KJ went into pall care, so I am confident that, when I get back into it next year & I'm not too perfunctory, it shouldn't take too long to complete it & make it available for readers. And as you picked up, it is a feeder into Dream Walker. Fyi, the guy who has the nightmare is in DW too!!!
I gave perfunctory attention to my housework so I could read your story LOL. A good start, full of intrigue.
